ZEITGEIST AND UTOPIA
In
attempt to define the terms “zeitgeist” and “utopia” I believe that the term
zeitgeist has to do with time, and the beliefs of people living in a particular
time frame, for example there was a time in history where everyone believed in the
supernatural, this was the Middle ages (from 5th to the 15th
centuries). Not much innovations took place during those periods as compared to
today.
Utopia
I see as a perfect place of one’s own mindset, a place that one dreams of
whether living or as a form of an afterlife.

After doing my research on zeitgeist and utopia I found
out that I had an idea of what the two terms meant, but there is more to it as
sources state that zeitgeist is not a political movement and in a broader view
some see the “zeitgeist movement” which is believed to result in utopia, as a
dream world that no one could live in as the world has its surprises. The
movement is based on moving beyond money, the thing is everyone wants to be
rich and money is believed to be a need, this movement would not be successful
as it would take a long time to practice and as human we do not have much time
in the world as the youth is to always repeat most mistakes we’ve done.
In knowing which information is relevant one has to look
at different sources and read critically to see which sites have done their
research and which is just based on comments and one has to examine relevant
keywords in the site. The key words I found was “dreamworld” , the site I’m
most interested in is Equality Research and it is basically because it states
that removing money simply means we replacing it with resources, which means
basically the same thing.
